Our initiative is focused on working with rural schools to identify such students and provide the support needed to make a smooth transition from matric to tertiary institutions.
THE EDUCATE ROADSHOW
Our roadshow brings together a team of professionals and real-life grass-to-grace heroes to share current trends in education and motivate and inspire learners to reach for more and change the status quo.
VENTURE CREATION
Our community initiatives aim to build socio-economic capacity through entrepreneurial and venture creation development to create self-sustainable households and communities.
BACK TO BASICS
In partnership with accredited training providers, we correct the knowledge deficit in impoverished communities, by empowering them with relevant-to-life skills such as basic reading, writing, internet.

EMPOWERMENT THROUGH EDUCATION
The South African economy is volatile and plagued with high rates of unemployment, poor service delivery and overstrained government budgets, leading to worsening living conditions, particularly in rural communities where people continue to experience the effects of these challenges on a daily basis. It is in response to this situation that Bhekisisa Foundation exists; to solve the problem of poverty- intellectually, economically and socially.
